Miriam graduated from Royal Birmingham Conservatoire in June 2018 with a Masters Distinction in Music Performance. Miriam has played with some of the UK’s best ensembles including The City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, The Royal Shakespeare Company and The City of London Sinfonia as well as giving solo recitals in both London and Birmingham.
In addition to her performing career, Miriam is passionate about community engagement, outreach and educational projects and has delivered workshops to children of all ages including being part of Sistema England's In Harmony programme and Staffordshire's Live Music Now programme.
Miriam is a member of Cheltenham Music Festival’s MUSICATE team who work with Schools across Gloucestershire to enable children and teachers to listen to and be inspired by complex pieces of repertoire. Last year, she co-delivered a year long programme of workshops at two schools in the Forest of Dean.
Miriam also works as a peripatetic percussion teacher for Entrust Music Service in Staffordshire as well as her varied freelance performing career.
